ABOUT ME
My friends tell me that I'm an outgoing and friendly person, but I don't believe them - I think I'm shy. I've also been told that I've a tendency to talk a lot - I won't dispute that one. I may drink too much coffee and I'm not a particular fan of mornings.
I would say that I like to travel, but that would be an understatement. (I don't really know what to do with myself when I'm not travelling.)
I love new experiences, new places, and new people. I love sharing music and stories.
I've just moved to Cambridge for a master's degree (Human Evolutionary Studies), looking forward to getting to know the city. I spent the last three years in Bristol, studying Archaeology and Anthropology. (Absolutely loved Bristol!). Before that, I spent a year backpacking in South East Asia (and still travel as much as possible). I grew up in Los Angeles (and various airports).
PHILOSOPHY
Open eyes, open ears, try everything once, never miss an opportunity, see both sides (and then some) of any issue.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm just getting started on the website, but I've always believed in meeting people and making friends on the road - it's the only way to really get to know a place, and being able to offer hospitality is as wonderful as benefiting from it!
Interests
Everything! (No, really. Everything.) Music, books, history, art, politics, music, more music, food, good food, conversation, travel, philosophy, ridiculously long conversations, getting lost, losing track of time, mythology, mythologizing things, anthropology... (Maybe everything besides sports - but even then, it can be fun to watch the people watching them.)
