About Me
ABOUT ME
I will graduate with a degree in Psychology and a degree in French this June, and then I have a one way ticket for Budapest. I am going out into the world to see what I can learn before deciding what my next step is. I studied in France this past fall and I fell in love with the idea of only buying one way tickets after talking with a ton of backpackers that genuinely never knew where their next destination was. I do not have a lot of money, but I have time and I have stories to share.
PHILOSOPHY
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ~ Mark Twain

Interests
I love all sorts of things! I am equally as happy sitting down with a good book or writing a story, as I am hiking or sailing. I love learning about language, art, and what makes people tick.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most memorable experiences I have ever had, is sailing on a 100 foot "pirate" ship with my best friends for nine days. We explored the Channel Islands, which are off of the coast of California. While we were on the trip, we not only learned how to command a ship, but how to truly connect with each other. While on the ship and on the islands we did not have any access to electronics, so we had to entertain each other which led to some of the most personal conversations I have ever been a part of. Those connections coupled by beautiful scenery, created an unforgettable experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
If there is boat access somewhere nearby I can teach you how to sail! I can also help with English if it is needed/wanted.
