Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe a couch is one of the best sociological observatories for understanding the world. A hotel gives you a key; a CS host gives you a window into their society.

I’m also a big believer in the power of exchange: I learn from you, and you learn from me. Traveling becomes infinitely more meaningful when it's shared. I’m here for the authentic culture that doesn't make it into the tour brochures—the local customs, the hidden gems, and those late-night conversations that shift your perspective.
New friendships change everything. There are places I’d revisit solely because of the people I met there.
