About Me

Hi! I'm an History and Art History student from Zurich. Therefore I'm very interested in cultural activities. I like to visit museums, gallerys, churches/temples/..., castles, monuments - whatever! But I really like to go hiking or just being in the nature as well.
Travelling is this one thing in my life, which fulfills me with complete happiness. If you stay at home, you can never learn as much as if you can see things with your own eyes. That's why I love to experience many different things abroad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Actually, I love reading books about places, I'd like to visit. But there is no better way to learn something about another country/city/place than talking with other people and meeting locals. That's why I'd like to meet many special personalities from all over the world and to change knowledge and experiences with eachother.

Music, Movies, and Books

music: Sting, Paolo Nutini, Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers, Boy etc
(for swiss music check: Bastian Baker, Pegasus)

movies: I know quite less about movies. But I really like to watch movies which shows a different perspective on things than Hollywood. For ex. PS Jerusalem, Dasein.

books: Oh where to start and where to end?! So I obviously really like to read.
For "fun" I really like to read books of Jane Austen or Charlotte Bronte for example. Actually reading books for my studies is fun too, but it is still not the same. One of the last things I've read and really liked was: Sachiko Kusukawa "Picturing the Book of Nature".
