About Me
i love to comfortably share silence with strangers. that’s how i know i’ve become friends with them.
…i can be loud tho :’>
anyways, i’m a Hungarian girl born and raised in Cluj, Transylvania, an antique city in Romania.
ABOUT MY HOMETOWN
• i love my hometown. it’s a place where you can meet so many people in such a short period of time, but if you stay, you’ll soon become part of this community. may seem impossible, but if you’re a Hungarian person living here (we’re a minority), you see, the community gets a tiny bit smaller.
• young Hungarians from all over the country come to Cluj to continue their studies after high school. it’s a city popular for its high range of higher education. aand if you’re a student here, then you’ll soon find yourself getting the impression that you know everyone here! and the places, it all gets so familiar, it can get crazy, haha, but it’s not that big a city, so it’s understandable this happens.
• also, if you’re an active part of this community, you’ll slowly make connections - and because of these connections, you won’t be able to avoid the giant wave of >>student life<< activities (such as weekly parties, cultural and educational events, festivals, or the annually held ‘Student Days’) and you’ll soon find yourself gravitating in an endless world of activities, filled with the sporadic yet well-set youth of this region.
‘Student Days’ is basically a week-long thing (thing = something along the lines of a festival, a celebration and a contest, organised by and for the students of higher education here in Cluj; but there are ‘Student Days’ in other towns too here in Transylvania, where Hungarian student life thrives.
I study politics and human resources here (my first year) and these days my hobby is mainly reading. but once the hibernating, chilly season moves along, so will i with my travelling, adventurous, nomadic self.
i love to move my body and explore new cities, new places, just as i love to learn about their history and culture.
(atm, i’m stuck at my folks’ history and culture, which can be tricky, because it disperses from the ancient times)
