ABOUT ME

I (Noemi) consider myself truly European, having lived in 5 countries in 6 years - not counting one year in India - by heart an environmentalist, and by mind a forever curious person who at the moment spends most of her time with Leo and little Oli.

I (Maciek) spent most of the last decade on environmental campaigning, volunteering for human rights/peace groups in "conflict areas", journalism and climbing, in many parts of the world. Currently working for Greenpeace and looking for a perfect piece of land/community to settle down in the future.

We'll surely participate more as soon as we settle down in one place, which will probably happen in autumn 2016.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

great. We surfed mostly in Ireland, UK and Italy up to now, and met fabulous people. From this summer onwards we can finally offer a couch to crash on in Kopanic, a small village near the Czech border in Poland.

lots to learn... to teach? Noemi - about regenerative agriculture, permaculture, cooking, salsa and joga. Maciek - about appropriate technology, some cooking recipes and climbing. We have more to share, depending on with whom...
Leo could teach you some words in Hungarian and Polish - he is bilingual, although just learned to speak English during our half-year travel.
