Hey! So I'm Noémie, I'm a 24 years old French girl. I grew up in the French Alps next to Grenoble. I studie Humanitarian Communication in Lyon and in Bucharest right now for the semester ! I also did a European Voluntary Service in Finlande two years ago which was one of the best experience of my life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is a passion for me and I would like to see every country in the world. It allows me to discover other culture and people and that is why I'm on couchsurfing! I would like to discover places not only as a tourist but also with local people. I love to share my culture and my country also and be sure that as soon as I will have my proper apartment, I'll host also!

Next to my humanitarian studies, I do a lot of sports such as hiking, running, skiing, snowboarding… I also like to play music, I used to do piano and saxophone, and to sing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love old French musics but also american rap, reggae and pop rock. I think I can say that I could like every kind of music, I want to hear it!
I love to read fantasy books such as Harry Potter and also thriller such as Millenium by Stieg Larsson. I love to be invade by an atmosphere and a story.
I like cinema too and specially when the film makers built a new universe such as Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson or Pedro Almodovar. I like also some old French or Italian movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My year in Finland was pretty amazing ! I'm waiting a lot from Bucharest and Romania also !

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm curious about everything so I want to learn from every experience I do. I lot to exchange my point of view with different people, I think that it make everyone think about and develop his own ideas. This is how the world should by ruled: learning from each other and teaching to each other.
