About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a french woman that has been living for almost 20 years in Berlin.
I used to travel a lot. Not so much since 2020. Now I want to discover and try to understand the world again!
Next trip: Pakistan, India, Nepal!
Even if I stay in a hostel, I tend to contact local people just to hang out and ask them all the stupid questions that crossed my mind during the day. When traveling, I'm more interested in the daily life and culture than the touristic highlights.
I have a solid traveling experience, mostly solo with a backpack. I love to think I'm self-sufficient, autonomous and respectful of other people mindsets. I smile a lot for no reason. I'm a social person, but I also enjoy being on my own.
PHILOSOPHY
No rules, just values.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
To be honest I mostly surf (but when I host, I try really hard to do my best).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm totally addicted. I have tried to travel without these last years and it just doesn't feel the same.
Since I have to work sometimes while I'm traveling I may stay at some hotel but I still want to meet up with the locals.
I know this sounds cliché but it is such a great opportunity to get to know a country, its people, culture, history, food and contradictions - so many things that make traveling worth.

Teach, Learn, Share
... Open a beer with a lighter?
I can definitely help you with French (and to a lesser extent with German and English).
I need to practice more in Russian, Turkish and Spanish so I'd be glad to try to have a conversation in these.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a very bad dancer. I am a good listener (I think) and an acceptable chess player.
