About Me

Hi there!

I am a small French human who studies the brain and puts her backpack on from time to time to go travel around!

I was born and grew up in the sunny South of France before moving to London in 2011 to go to uni. I spent four awesome years there and I am now back on my side of the Channel, currently living in Paris (although I hop back and forth a lot).

I always enjoy a good laugh and a warm-hearted discussion around a cup of tea/glass of wine/pint of beer/kale smoothie/glass of my own tears, depending on what's available!

Oh yeah, and I love dogs too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing five years ago with two of my friends before embarking into a backpacking trip around Spain and Portugal. We got to meet with lovely locals that took us around town and showed us places we would have never found on our own. I kept great memories from this experience and wished I could do it again soon, but the next five years didn't leave space for much wandering around!

Due to moving places a lot, I have not yet been able to host couchsurfers but would love to do so once I have a stable living situation!

Interests

I love music. I take my ukulélé with me wherever I go and I'm always up for a spontaneous jamming session. I find it to be a great way to bring people together

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movie is La vita è bella, by Roberto Benigni. I have never watched another movie that made me both cry and laugh as much as this one...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer, I attempted to cycle from London all the way to Cornwall... On a tandem bike. I failed. I also go slapped by a wallaby once.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French speaking, ukulélé playing, how to make origami dragons and all sorts of card games.

I am a keen learner so if you can teach anything, I would be happy to learn it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can give you good company, musical entertainment, a helping hand with the cooking/gardening/etc... I also make pretty good crêpes!

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Croatia, Ecuador, Germany, Greece, Italy, Peru, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, United Kingdom
