About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Vuelvo a Mexico para conocer de lleno su cultura y hacer un programa de voluntariado con migrantes. Quisiera aprovechar para conocer la gente buena onda de la zona y compartir buenos momentos.
ABOUT ME
I'm a traveling spanglish soul (half spanish, half english). I was born in Madrid, Spain and lived there most of my student life. Since, I have lived a year in Utrecht (The Netherlands) on Erasmus and lived in New York whilst doing an internship there. I've also spent 6 months in Valencia for my Masters and two years in the island of Majorca working with asylum seekers. Now I'm in Mexico volunteering with migrants.
Since I discovered the joy of traveling, I could never get tired of it. I love exploring new places, meeting interesting people on the way and planning a good trip in order not to miss anything from each destination. I love to see the city or place I'm visiting from a local's point of view, so I'm hoping you can help me with that ;)
I tend to be very active when I'm on touring mode, so walking for miles won't be a bad thing if it has to be done.
Traveling makes me feel free and happy. The plan is to enjoy life as much as possible until I settle down, find a job in my field saving the world and save more money to get traveling again and keep learning.
PHILOSOPHY
Imagination is the power that makes the future my inspiration
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have mostly been a surfer, but I enjoy being able to show travellers around in my hometown too!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed in India for the first time when I was 21 and I had a really great time with all my hosts and the interesting people I met through them. Then I also couchsurfed in New York and learnt so much about this city thanks to my host. Most recently, I couchsurfed through half of my first South American trip and every person I met through CS were the highlight of my holiday.
The concept of couch-surfing is simply great.
Interests
I love traveling, of course, and I'm quite a photography enthusiast.
I am no professional sports person, but I love to hike to discover beautiful places and try new sports.
Also, I love learning from every adventure.
I like discussing politics and human rights issues too and just sharing points of view of whatever theme we can get to talk about.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I'm sorry to say I don't have the chance to read many books for leisure, just when I'm on transit or traveling. I'm mostly a Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Paulo Coelho fan. I'd also love to receive recommendations!
Movies: Crash, Pearl Harbor, I am Sam, Beyond Borders, Motorcycle diaries... I also really enjoy any film based on fact.
Music: I like all kinds of music. A bit of Calvin Harris, Rosalia, Michael Jackson... local Spanish/Catalan music and R&B, hiphop, soul, pop (and a big etc!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One breathtaking experience was being in Iceland in the freezing cold seeing the aurora borealis appear and dance in the night sky... Also, as for crazy things: I went hitchhiking from Utrecht, the Netherlands, to Berlin during my studies exchange as part of a competition (it took 10 hours with lots of smiling and patience).
Another amazing experience was traveling solo during my south american trip - however, I was practically never solo thanks to couchsurfing!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm sure we can share good conversation, fun anecdotes and make good memories of our own over a walk, hike and/or a drink!
