About Me

ABOUT ME

It´s hard to do it myself... But for sure I am adventurous, really outgoing and very curious about different cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

I love and embrace changes, and at the same time I try to enjoy the present to the fullest just as it is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly hosting and meeting people to go around, CSing meetings and potlucks. I have surfed only a few times - it was awesome! So I really hope to surf more when I start my new travelling time soon :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A w e s o m e !! Great people, sweet spirits, beautiful lessons about LIFE, and cultures, and human beings, and places... CSing and CSers are giving me always the fresh air with sense of life.

Interests

Meet different people. Live life to its fullest. Laugh a lot, especially to tears. Enjoy family and friends. Read more books. Watch great movies. Sing. Dance. And of course, travel!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen and dance diferent kinds of music, but too many kinds that I don't know very well anyone :P I enjoy Reggae, Hip Hop, latin music like Bachata and Reggaetton; also some Classical, Bossa Nova, Folklore (Arg), some Electronic, and of course ROCK! ;) I´d say the only music I still don´t very much like is heavy metal.-

Movies.. El Secreto de sus ojos, Cenizas del Paraiso , Forest Gump, Shrek, Lord of the rings, El hijo de la novia, Viky Cristina Barcelona, a few of Tim Burton, The theory of everything, etc

Books... I like Ernesto Sabato´s "Sobre heroes y tumbas", "El Tunel", Isabel Allende: my favorite book of her "La casa de los espiritus" (looved that book)... I´ve really liked "El pajaro canta hasta morir-The thorn birds" by Colleen McCulough, "On the road" by Jack Kerouac, "The kite runner" by Khaled Hosseini, "Cien años de soledad" by Gabriel García Marquez, etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flying to Cuba alone for 2 days and meeting right away great Cubans troubadours singing and playing their guitars on the Malecón of La Habana with a great moon and the waves breaking really close to us, singing their own songs (with hilarious lyrics) and a few songs of Andres Calamaro and Charly Garcia for this Argentinian girl... unforgettable.

Living with a sweet Jewish family for two months, right in the holiday season, and have been surprisingly invited their Hanuka ceremony (first time for me); then I found in my room (also surprisingly) a Christmas tree that they made me (first time for them) just to make me feel closer to my home. Such a simple but lovely cultural exchange.

Having my American host family (who I lived with during a whole year), visiting Argentina and joining my Argentinian family for a typical "Asado argentino" in the countryside, both families speaking a funny Spanglish and getting to know each other.. A beautiful moment of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I cannot stop learning from CSing experiences - so thanks for that to this entire community!
I would share here what I try to do: to have an active life, only stop to reflect (and re-fresh) the good moments and learn about the bad ones, but mostly keeping on-going and enjoying the simple things of life.
