About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Taking the long way home

ABOUT ME

Taking a little break between farming in NZ and california, thought i'd come visit europe it is my first time here,,,,, i spend most of my time growing different types of food (fruit and vegetables pretty much covers it) and my travels mostly consist of sailing around different places, these days jumping on other peoples boats and crewing, although i've been spending a lot of time boat shopping on craigslist in my spare time...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have mainly just hosted before on couchsurfing at various flats and on my wee sailboat i had at one point-- I can't quite figure out how to change my profile to be like I'm looking for a couch instead of, I have a couch. But that's what i'm doin, looking for a couch ok. i like to meet all kinds of people and participate in their travels and, just sort of, check out what other people are doing i guess. It's been really fun hosting although i haven't had the opportunity to host in a few years now,, & i'm lookin forward to hopefully surfing a lil bit! chur

Interests

I like to occasionally go to see good music if it's around, i like to go tramping and eat food & make food and grow all kinds of things, i like to surf & ski & sail when i can, i like to try make people laugh but that doesn't always work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

ive seen all kinds of oceans and all kinds of animals living in there, mostly the friendly type, we did have a humpback whale breach so close to the boat once that i almost died of a heart attack, bloody whale was prolly bigger than my boat (ok it was a small boat)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some stories i'm also pretty good at listening to your stories or thoughts or whatever, I am happy to try and fit in and cook you dinner and things like that or i'm happy to sort of just lurk around the edges and pretend like i'm not there. Either or.
