About Me

My infinite apologies to anyone I missed hosting while I was generally not paying attention. We are happy to host travellers.

My brother and I are traveling podcasters and generally wandering souls.

We hold no ties to anywhere so we like to permanently travel as much as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

"I do not regret the things I've done, only those I did not do."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just getting into it more actively but it will be a big part of my lifestyle in the coming months and years.

Attended a few local meetups.

Music, Movies, and Books

Electric Six, Cake, The XX, Fang Island, The Format, MGMT, Modest Mouse, OK Go, The Postal Service, Queens of the Stone Age, The Postal Service, Said The Whale, The Strokes, We Are The City, the Racontuers, The Dead Weather, The Constellations, The White Stripes and Weezer. I tend to drift toward the indie music too, so if you know of someone with a unique sound, let me know. Also favorites but personal friends of mine that don't count because obviously I am bias but you should check out anyway; Andrew Allen, Colour in Conflict, Billy Reid, Said Saviours Cock and Adian Knight. I have a very wide range of musical tastes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing? I've been a very fortunate guy.
I have sailed on the tallship Barque Picton Castle for a month as part of their sailing crew.
Flown into remote ghost towns in BC.
Lived with orphans in Mexico for a month.
Been stunt flying over pristine lakes.
Climbed one side of Mt. Areosmith and hiked down the other.
Been bungee jumping.
Enjoyed music making with the fine folks at the 2011 Rainbow Gathering in Washington.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Heavy equipment operation (bulldozers, excavators, etc.), longboarding, painting and drawing, filmmaking, photography, graphic design and special effects.
Learn: Bass guitar (still getting better but would love a teacher), spanish, any strange eclectic skill, I want to learn everything I can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A local knowledge and a well versed background. Enjoying everything from rock-climbing to car customization, filmography to Dungeons and Dragons. Whatever your interests, I can shed some light on fun to have around here.
