ABOUT ME

I have spent most of my life as a birdwatcher, I was lucky enough to work in NGO engaged in this part of life (Polish Society for the Protection of Birds - http://www.op.org/en). A few years ago I made an important decision and became a member of the Order of Preachers.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't like living in crowd - I prefer to meet with smaller group of people and talk with them about different topics. I also like to go alone to some wild place and to enjoy the beauty of the nature - then I can feel that i am also a part of this great miracle of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to used CS mainly in Finland, Ireland and Belgium as a traveller and I hosted quite many people when I lived in Gdansk.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a guest I was hosted by great people in Finland and Estonia. In Poland I hosted people when I lived in Gdańsk - people from Latvia, Estonia, Hungary, Finland, USA, France and Germany

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like to read long articles in newspapers and magazines, mainly about history of Europe in XX century (it gives me knowledge to talk about it with people). I like listening to ethnic music, where people try to adopt old ways of making music to temporary conditions. There are just two films which I saw in cinema more than one time: French film "Amelia" and American one "The beautiful mind" with Russel Crowe.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Many times birds left me awestruck - for example a brief encounter with the Mysterial Imperor of the North, Great Grey Owl in Sweden years ago. I also think that my month-long trip to Finland and Estonia was something what left its impression forever in my heart.
