A New Yorker (and partial Parisian) living in Beijing I'm a wanderer/adventurer/teacher. I’ve travelled to 26 countries (one for each year I’ve been alive) and my main goal in life is to up that number.

I love going down mysterious alleys, barging through unlocked doors, and climbing on unguarded rooftops! My hobbies include drawing maps of made up places and writing an epic fantasy novel.

I love meeting new people so much, every person's story and life is a new adventure and I'm always honored to catch a glimpse. I love to try new things, I believe that stories are the point of life, and I want to be able to tell the best stories ever!

I rarely host (you are welcome to request, but I'm usually unavailable) but I love to explore and go on wild adventures, and anything cultural (especially art, galleries, museums, shows, whatever) so if you need someone to hang out with message me!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because I met this girl when I lived in Paris and she was in a bad situation and needed help so I invited her to stay with me on a whim (another good decision!) and when I told her I was planning a trip this weekend she told me I should try Couchsurfing. Since I've naturally fallen into the couch surfing experience I figured I should see this journey through. I hope to meet awesome new people and make friends for life with people from all different walks of life.

My favorite books ever are The Golden Compass series. I also love Fitzgerald (especially when I'm trying to sound intellectual) and Austen. I love Game of Thrones, and Harry Potter and LOTR and fantasy books generally. Movies I am obsessed with The Avengers movies, especially Guardians of the Galaxy, the Star Trek movies, The Dark Night Movies, and all sorts of super-hero and sci-fi and fantasy movies (I like really shallow movies because I only watch films when I want to escape reality). As far as music goes I love all music I'm not picky but left to my own devices I'm super mainstream and Taylor Swift is my favorite. I'm a nerd who loves to party!
