I'm on Couchsurfing because my friends suggested that it was a great way to meet people and I'm giving it a shot! Also, hotels are way too expensive hehe.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music to play is Jazz - I'm a drummer and I find that playing Jazz connects me deeply with people around me. It's my most natural way of communicating with others. But I love listening to many different types of music; rock, classical, hip hop, funk, r&b, Brazilian samba, bossanova, etc. My favorite movies are Shawshank Redemption, A Beautiful Mind, Midnight in Paris, Annie Hall, Happy Gilmore, Rush Hour, and Tootsie to name a few... so, all of over the place. My favorite books are East of Eden, Catcher in the Rye, A Farewell to Arms, and Ham on Rye. My tastes are literally all over the place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm, well I joined the Army as a musician and travelled around the US performing ceremonies and marching in parades for students, civilians, retirees, you name it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think that it is very important in life to expose yourself to what you don't know and sometimes what is potentially uncomfortable. It's very easy to sink into a normal routine and never expand your surroundings but I have found that the bliss from having experiences that are foreign to you is indescribably profound and has taught me so much about people, the world, and myself.
