A young student who has biked and hitch-hiked all over western Canada and the northern US. Finally found a place to call home in Calgary

PHILOSOPHY

Nobody 'is' anything. We're only the things that we do. We have a lot more freedom than we allow ourselves. We truly can do anything if we simply let go of our own self-image.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a whole bunch of couchsurfers in the past year. I've never surfed myself, but I love giving as much as I can to the community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to this through my friend, Oak Craig, when we started hosting. Since he is out of town on-and-off, I decided to make my own profile. Since then, I've hosted a bunch of people, some of whom have become roommates or good friends.

I could teach you some very basic things about wood carving. I occasionally make rings, jewelry, tools, and alcohol with a couple friends of mine. I also know a good deal about math/logic and space, and I always get SUPER excited talking about those things.
