CURRENT MISSION

I moved to Fort Mcmurray to make money to travel, unfortunately I began a job that does not have much flexibility for travel. So while the pay is good I am saving to take as many "short trips" (3 weeks to a month) at a time.

ABOUT ME

I have always been captivated by adventure, and exploring new places. I'd always get in trouble as a child for wandering off. But now, I'm still drawn to new and exciting places and love to meet new people and hear their tails.
I can't wait to travel more, come September of this year I will have a better laid out plan as to where I am going to visit. Until than I am waiting for more information on others as to what they are doing with their trip.

PHILOSOPHY

You can never be old and wise, Unless you are young and crazy. Live life to the fullest, you never know what's around the corner.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to know more about different cultures and countries. More than you can just learn about by watching television and reading books.
First hand experience is the best way. If anyone has any pointers of what places they love best and why, I would love to hear about it...That way it might help me make up my mind as to where I should travel to this fall, so if you have any tips for me I would be more than happy to hear!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never done any couch surfing, and to be honest I am still quite reluctant to try it out, but I have spoken to so many people that have gone out and tried it and only have positive comments about it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Reading was never a strong point in my life growing up, until recently when I moved away from home, now I go through all sorts of books, my favorite are fiction. But I also like reading psychology and other books that make you think. The biggest influence growing up (outside of interaction with people) has been music, I listen to music all day long, I played bass guitar in school, but once school was over I stopped for some reason, now I am currently trying to teach myself how to play bass and guitar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love adventure, but am/was terrified of heights, so for my 20th birthday I decided to go skydiving at 10,000 feet. Now I cant wait to go again!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn. I want to take in as much from other people about other cultures, and the history of new places as possible. Taking part in different languages and traditions and seeing what the world has to offer is what I want to do.
