Overview
About Me
I am currently a graduate student, pursuing a Ph.D. in English, at the University of Washington, which means I get to live in the beautiful city of Seattle. When I'm not teaching or working on my degree, I enjoy traveling, hiking, yoga, cooking and baking, reading, and, most recently, embroidery. I spent a semester of my undergrad in London and a summer in Botswana.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am currently a grad student and have to travel for conferences, in addition, to traveling for fun. Making travel possible of a grad school stipend is exceedingly difficult though. Couchsurfing, for me, lets me get to know cool people from around the world while also making travel more possible on my current income.
