ABOUT ME

I've lived in New Jersey all my life. I grew up in lovely suburbia and have come to love it for all it's crazy features (despite the boring ones). I have always loved traveling but this past summer I got a taste of independent travel and now I'm sick travel fever. I know there is so much more to this little bubble of "small town" and I'm ready to get myself on the road exploring.

I love living life! I like finding a good time, even if it's all in my head. I love discovering new places and making new friends. Not all of my connections to people are deep, some are based on just having fun. I'm a somewhat social chameleon, changing to the appropriate state or blending in when I need to. When I don't, well, you should find out for yourself. ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Trust your feet and the rest will follow. Know yourself and you will know the world.

Just keep discovering. There is no way to have seen it all, even if you think you have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I'm looking forward to traveling and extending my network beyond the borders of my state. Since I live in a small apartment with my mother, I can't always accommodate for a night (but if you ask me I'm sure something can be arranged). However, I can show people around and let them in on how a local on the Jersey shore lives all year round.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

(before CS): met a friend from Massachusetts online and then spent a weekend at his house meeting his friends and connecting further. Learned a bit more about myself, others, and my relation to others as well.

Interests

finding and making my own fun, going to parties, having and/or making adventures, learning, TRAVEL (of course!), language(s), new people, helping and healing others (sometimes a hands-on experience), energy work/manipulation, "magic", spirituality, differing opinions and viewpoints, philosophy, funny stories, animals, flexible people, music, art of all kinds, good food, fencing, swords, archery, history, all different kinds of music and dance, good times, being happy and spreading joy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At age 16, spent a week in British Columbia learning to reshape myself in the company of (at the start of the trip) about 10 complete strangers in the wilderness. We summited two mountains and felt like we conquered the world.

Decided to narrate my life by calling myself "the nomad" and acting as if my daily activities were recorded adventures. It seems strange, but it really changed so much in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Look into the world with love in your heart and it will reflect back. Remain frightened of the world and it will always find new ways to scare you. Confidence goes a long way.
