About Me
CURRENT MISSION
explore humanity and have as much fun as possible travelling and conversing with everyone i can!
ABOUT ME
Easy going, laid back guy who probably behaves younger than his age requires. Guitar enthusiast and budding designer. One day hopes to have travelled the world as a scuba diving instructor while maintaing rock stardom and at the same time be the worlds best artist. Not too much to ask...
I will welcome you to my home and be respectful of yours.
PHILOSOPHY
to quote Plato...live as though tomorrow you might get hit by a bus. Also ask yourself 'what did i learn today?' (i dont do that nearly enough!) and finally the glass is always half full.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My small but humble role in this community is to not only enrich my life by travelling but to hopefully enrich other peoples lives by sharing my stories, culture and wisdom with all the other people i meet on my Couch Surfing journey. Surfs Up!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I began my Couch Surfing life at the beginning of this year after an experience in a munich beer garden. We met two lovely travellers who explained everything to us over beer and er, cigarettes ;) After i got home from that trip to germany i researched CS. Since then me and a group of friends have been all over europe staying with the coolest people and getting little insights into different cultures that you wouldn't usually get travelling in hotels or hostels. Highlights include our stay in milan, amsterdam and paris. The generosity and hospitality received from these couch surfers was unparalleled.

Music, Movies, and Books
i am very eclectic when it comes to music but i tend to lean towards rock and alternative or drum and bass. As i mentioned i play guitar so my love of rock is strengthened by the fact that i can play my favourite songs. I like reading weird books like hunter s thompson or alduos huxley. Anything involving philosophy or hallucinogenic drugs is always good. Ill watch any movie but following my interest in books a weird movie that makes you think would be my preference and of course a good comedy never hurts. Some examples include waking life, fear and loathing in las vegas, old school, before sunset, american pie 3...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Im very lucky to be able to fill this section with more than one sight or experience. Of all the things ive seen the most sublime would be the taj mahal during a misty sunrise, the royal treasurey appear from a canyan in petra, the wreck of the thistlegorm materialize from beneth me during a deep dive in egypt, the magnificent pantheon in rome and seeing the stars like never before from a secluded island in the philipines.
I have also had many wonderful experiences but one of the most memorable is the jailbreak challenge i completed in university. Me and 3 other friends had 30 hours to get as far from manchester university as we could but with one catch - you cannot spend any money at all. Long story short, we managed to get to southern spain without spending anything and when we arrived on the beach that afternoon the reality of what we had done set in and it was a great moment with my close friends.
