About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Was living in Portland for the last 2 and 1/2 years but moved down to salem recently. I'm looking to meet some other couchsurfers in the area.

I'm an easy going guy who's got a great sense of humor. I love adventure travel and the outdoors, meeting new people, learning new things, music and books. I have worked in both radiology and teaching ESL. I have traveled all over North America, Central and South America, and SE Asia, and Europe.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is like a book, and if you never travel then you are just reading one page of the book!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I still haven't surfed a couch yet! However I plan to do a long trip around Europe /Asia this year by train and hope to meet up with some other fellow couch surfers out there

Teach, Learn, Share

people who have learned to live "outside the box"
people for example such as permanent nomads who have
created amazing blogs about their adventures such as "wandering earl" or Tim ferris, or nomadic matt and many more these people have shown that the traditional path in life that society seems to say "this is how it MUST BE DONE" is not the ONLY path
to take, there are other ways even if sometimes many people around you don't seem to grasp the idea of it or think its "normal"
