I am a Jane of all trades and a king of none. I am a scientist so I have a nerdy side. I love to travel, meet new people and converse with strangers so I have a very fun and adventurous side as well! I also fancy myself as a bit of a hippie :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am not new to the CS project but am new to actively participating in it. I have a few friends here now who I have met through my travels.
I have also hosted some friends and am looking forward to hosting more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

August 2009 - Vancouver, BC
Trekked from University of British Columbia campus, most north eastern point of Vancouver all the way to Granville Island which is located somewhere near downtown.
The walk took 8 hours and I hopped from beach to beach. A dip here, a bite there, stopping to watch the sunset on Jericho Beach, ending with a Polynesian dinner on Granville Island.
BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!

My favorite thing to do on any trip is to grab a map and walk for hours upon hours to explore a city ending with a "nice" dinner and some vino, or barfood and beer, that works too!
