About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To reach the tip of South America!

ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing person who loves to meet new people. I am very out-door oriented, and that is where I try and spend the majority of my time! I like to go hiking, kayaking, fishing, and rock climbing. I also like to drink and party.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is only as good as the stories you have to tell about it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Traveling at the moment. I plan to use CS throughout my travels as much as possible to experience different cultures to the fullest. Whether it be a cup of coffee or a couch for a couple nights, I think this is the best way to truly understand another person's culture. I will be actively available to host people when I return from traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was contacted by a random CSer that saw that I was going to be travelling through Mexico. He asked me if I would be able to stop in his city and teach English for a short period of time. After saying no and then debating it, I said yes! I was able to stay on his couch for a week while he helped me find a temporary residence.

A CS experience not this web site: On my travels through South East Asia I met a Vietnamese man that was talking about going to school at my university. We exchanged contact information and I told him if he needed a place to stay when he first arrived I would have the couch ready for him. Sure enough he called a couple of months later, and stayed on my couch for 2 weeks before he could find an apartment. It was a great experience and we had a lot of time to exchange cultural differences.
