About Me

Maybe hosting:
I don't have a couch, an extra bed or a mattress. I only have my own room in a quiet shared house which is large enough to accommodate an extra person (a solo traveler) provided that s/he is willing to sleep on a clean carpet. Only for someone who is utterly desperate, stranded for the night and couldn't find a place to lay down.

About me:
Currently back at the university for another Master's degree while trying to squeeze in a bit of traveling whenever I can. Some years back, I stumbled on a quote that goes along the lines of " traveling is not a matter of money, it's a matter of courage" - and I believe and follow this (too religiously, at times). Hence every time I can can fit in return tickets, off I go and the rest to be figured out when I get to my destination. Thus I could be a bit of spontaneous, go-with-the flow type of person and somehow things tend to always work out nicely. By nicely I meant sleeping at the airports, train and bus stations, and on a some better nights, in warm and welcoming homes of some of the kindest hosts. The people from all walks of life I met along the way (homes, roads, buses, trains, etc), their life experiences, their thoughts about the world and all that is happening, amazing work they have done and are continue doing are the best thing I possess whose value is nowhere quantifiable.

Thus I'm always super-hyped about traveling and meeting new people specially those who are passionate about travelling and the world beyond their borders. I hope to meet you on some bright highways with songs to sing and tales to tell (parts of a lyric from a country song).

oh man, I wish I am on top of music, movies, and books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done some things but I'm not sure if I could be the best person to judge if they're amazing or not. That'd be like blowing one's own trumpet and I try to avoid that. :))
