ABOUT ME
Blissed to be blessed and blessed to be blissed! Passionate about life and floating on spontaneous elation, I observe the world with an artists perspective but maintain balance simplistically witnessing and experiencing. My greatest challenge in life is choosing between a plethora of interests and a myriad of locales. I am an artist unattached to self categorization and unable to commit to a solitary medium or even the word "visual." I am dichotomously opposed between a love of wilderness in its extremities and a sincere need to be engaged in contemporary culture and thought.
PHILOSOPHY
Love Light and Learning! Magic Momentum and Manifestation!
Radical Honesty.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
A small town mountain girl at heart, I've released myself from elevations of reclusiveness to the greater global world. Elated to re-embrace nomadicism, and international neotribalism, I'm perpetuating momentum with positivity and an open, nonjudgemental heart.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I used to brag of pioneering Leave No Trace Couch Surfing as a subsistence lifestyle. Originally, a boyfriend was a member and in a moment of real travel desperation we were hosted pre-flight and post Morocco in a Madrid suburb by a generous German man. We stayed up listening to Reggae on vinyl and had breakfast for dinner! I lived in a tipi outside of tourist destination Telluride, Colorado and lacking a couch, hosted fellow surfers around a camp fire under the stars. When I moved to Shanghai, I developed the most amazing group of supportive and inspiring friends through couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Save me from myself I can't stop reading Krishnamurti and it's easily available on the Indian subcontinent! I'm addicted to design, art, architecture, fashion, and culture magazines and voraciously consume global news online. The last movie I saw was Himalaya in Manang, Nepal in a dank movie theatre under a samosa restaurant and the benches were upholstered in yak hides. I'm generally a film snob and formerly programmed and produced international film festivals. I heart Bjork forever, CocoRosie, Apparat, Alias, Ambidexterous, Andrew Bird(yeah, I'm mentally reviewing the alphabetical ipod listing engraved in my neural pathways) Tom Burbank, Devandra Banhart, Devotchka, Boom Bip, Cinematic Orchestra, Mum, I'll never tire of radiohead, Sigur Ros, Trentemoller, Kim Hiortoy, Arcade Fire live is amazing, American and Brit hipster rock is worthy, I heart electronica and uncategorical or new genres are evolutionary. Music is magic and diversity is super-bien!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I completed the Annapurna Circuit in record speed and reached my highest, 5400 meters! I ran down the backside 90km in 2 days: my feet swelled from elevation decrease and blistered so badly I was rendered unable to walk except prancing on my toes, a difficulty when carrying a pack. I hitchhiked out of the Mustang Himalayas on the roof racks of Mahindra Jeeps and contemplated how thankful I am for fortunate problems and a positive lifestyle.
