About Me
Hi guys 👋
I’m Shubham from North India 🇮🇳
After visiting every single country in the world 🌍 197 out of 197, I’m finally back in India and staying here for a while. During my journey, I was hosted by people in so many countries 🤍 so now I want to give back to the same community. I’m open to hosting travelers here 🏡
I started traveling at the age of 16, when I left the traditional path of studies and chose to learn from real life experiences. Since then, life has been all about travel, meeting people, and understanding different cultures ✨
I love talking to people and connecting with strangers. Whether it is on a bus, at a small shop, or while waiting somewhere, I usually end up having conversations 😄 I don’t think it is bravery, I just trust people and take the first step
Since 2019, I have been documenting my journey through videos, showing a raw and real side of the world 🎥
If you are traveling to India and need a place to stay or just want to meet, feel free to reach out 🤝 Always happy to connect 🌏

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have experienced incredible adventures in my six years of travel:
I slept on the road amidst the forests of Russia.
I camped in the Arctic Circle, facing the harsh conditions of the region.
I hitchhiked for more than 12,000 km in Russia, exploring Siberia and the western regions.
I stayed with the military near the Vietnam border, getting a unique insight into their way of life.
Hitchhiking over 50,000 km across 80+ countries, I encountered diverse cultures and landscapes.
I spent five days with a truck driver in Russia, covering around 5,000 km together.
I found myself staying overnight in police stations on multiple occasions.
I crossed the Gobi Desert on foot in just two days, facing the life-threatening challenge of searching for water.
In Mongolia, while waiting for a lift, I even watched Netflix to pass the time.
I hitchhiked and camped in the extreme cold of the Pamir Highway, where temperatures dropped to a bone-chilling -43°C.
Undeterred by warnings of danger, I journeyed to Magadan and Oymyakon during the coldest time of the year in Russia, where temperatures plummeted to around -60°C, making it one of the coldest places on the planet.
Taking daring risks, I ventured into Taliban-controlled areas in Afghanistan and even had a harrowing encounter with the Taliban.
Throughout my travels, I sought out offbeat paths and explored lesser-known countries, making unforgettable memories along the way.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can show you the real side of Indian culture, one of the oldest and most diverse in the world. From North to South to Northeast, every region feels like a different country. I can also share hitchhiking tips, the Indian “jugaad” mindset, and even teach you a bit of Hindi, Bhojpuri, or Rajasthani.
Learn:
I’m always curious about new cultures and love picking up basic words from different languages. If you can teach me something, I’m all in.
Share:
I have plenty of crazy travel stories from around the world, and I’d love to hear yours too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer you a comfortable place to stay with home-cooked meals and plenty of Indian tea. If you enjoy drinking, I also have a great collection of alcohol from different parts of the world.
Along with that, you’ll get endless travel stories, good conversations, and a chance to experience real local life in a simple, warm way.
