About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Go, see, learn about as many places/people as possible whilst exchanging my experiences along the way

ABOUT ME

I'm not your average straight-shooting Aussie guy. I don't surf, have a tan that would make anyone jealous, or ride kangaroos on any sort of regular basis.
I love different styles of music, jamming out with mates, films, photography, going out with friends, searching for the next thing that's going to stimulate my mind whatever that may be.

PHILOSOPHY

There's got to be more to life than having everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Participate in local CS community events when possible, surf and plan to host when I get back to Australia

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I´ve now surfed many times and each and every experience has been amazing for different reasons. My favourite experiences have been those with people who take interest in the local culture, history, politics of a place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bought a boat in Laos with some Irish friends and navigated it down the Mekong. However, as it got quite rough a few days in and we crashed it trying to dodge some rapids. We ended up being stranded in a remote village where noone could speak a word of English. The villagers were so kind and curious as it was the first time they'd ever seen Westerners. The process of trying to communicate our message across to them against all odds was one of the most inspiring experiences I've had in all my life.
