ABOUT US
When the road brings people together and Love come to play, you get some amazing surprise. Backpacking, couchsurfing and hitch hiking was how our family got together and this is how we intend to keep doing it on our holidays now that we settle down.

Lucie ( 5 years old, Argentifrenchy): Born in her parent's house in Argentina. She has already been from Colombia down to Patagonia in her mother's belly. Took her very first flight when she was just two weeks old and didn't cry. She has spent most of her life on the road and she has already been in 13 countries in less than 2 years.

Gaia (French and one day, Argentian) : 3 years old. Born in our house in France. Enjoyed a fair bit of travel as well. Very different from her sister and good fun to watch growing up.

Victoria (31 years old, Argentina ): Doula (just got her certificate from l'institut des doulas de France).

Studied Social Communication (just an other way to say "journalism") got bored of it and decided to take her backpack and hit the road. She had some crazy good fun till she met a sweaty and dirty french guy in the north of Argentina. She dedicated herself since then to teach him some manners and hygiene's rules while caring to their baby. That's not an easy job but some results showed up : the dirty french doesn't smell sweat anymore. She decided to keep travelling with him and their baby, to see what's life got for them.

Pierre (officially 33 years old but stopped counting at 27) : Working from home as the Head of Marketing / Country manager for Canva.com in France, studying Applied Kinesiology to become a certified full time Kinesiologist in a year or two.

Ex-Dirty french who went all over the place (49 countries) for the last 6 years. Did it mostly by hitch hiking which explain why it took him so long ;)

Studied environmental Science, used his master's internship to spend some nice time in Iceland doing some monitoring of the trash coming on the coast. Went then to Senegal to work for a year at the creation of collective gardens and milk factories in some small villages. Hated being part of the NGO business there and decided to make his mission one year shorted. At the end of the mission, found out that it was the perfect time to start this old dream of a loop around the World by hitch hiking.

It took him 3000 euro, some flights and 14 months to reach Australia. I (yes, it's weird to talk about myself at the 3rd person so let's go back to "I") spend a year working there on mines site and with the savings, I went to South America. Met Victoria in the north of Argentina, went my way for 5 months (I wanted to go to Patagonia, she was going to Peru) and we met again in Lima. We started to travel together... few weeks was the plan but it ended in few years ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get to know the nicest people in each places we are travelling to and learn from the local's culture and way of Life.

We participate by opening our door whenever we have a fixed place.

Interests

Lucie : painting, drawing, dancing any kind of music.

Pierre : Kinesiology, Thai and Chi nei tsang Massage, nutrition, Trekking, Celtic music and dance

Vicky:
-all about motherhood, and child care: natural pregnancy, breastfeeding, natural delivery, how to accompain a children developement, multilingual children, any kind of diseas and the way to combat it the natural way, alternative point of view about vaccination.
- Culture: I love to learn from different cultures, I like to discover how other people who has born somewhere else in the world see life, how´s their everyday life style, why they practise any kind of the religion or believes and whats the meaning for them, I don´t like just to "see" but I try to understand how and why, that´s why I like better long trips.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Vicky: To give birth was the most powerful and amazing experience I have lived, we had such an special lovely delivery at home, never thought beforethat to bring a baby to life could change myself that deep and in a permanent way.

Pierre : Swimming in a freezing lagoon full of the iceberg coming from the biggest Icelandic glacier.

Lucie: the most super amazing thing I did so far is walking, the first time I stood up byself I couldn´t believe it was happening, my parents were amazed just seeing my HYPER surprised face while doing it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Lucie : Can teach you how to live and enjoy "here and now", you can see the world through Lucie´s eyes and will see how amazing could be every simple thing around you.

Pierre : Can share knowledge related Kinesiologie (touch for health, brain gym...) and Chinese energetics.

Vicky: Everything you need to know about natural pregnancy and birthing, cooking argentinian dishes, mate´s culture (yes, as a good argentinian girl I take my mate everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE)
