About Me

Hola!

Originally from Barcelona. At some point I paid rent all over Europe, US, some Asia, and Australia. And traveled a bit more in between.

I’m a complex person, quite direct, with brutal honesty as a defect or virtue. I try to be creative. I can be intense. I’m very independent but value the power of the community. I'm always looking for a way to challenge my open-mindedness.

Half logical half chaos, I’m profoundly curious and happily lost in life. That took me to, nowadays, have three majors, four master degrees and speak several languages. I have never been able to take myself too seriously, so now I’m half broke and not working on any of those fields. And I happen to be quite happy with it.

I prefer people than things, places than money, stories than objects. I want to be able to look at my own past with awe and admiration, and feel myself smile at it and laugh at it at the same time. I collect experiences and treasure moments, and experience made me good at it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I traveled and have been shown around, and showed around myself, I have been hosted, I hosted myself, had several coffees and beers here and there, and had really interesting conversations & situations once in a while...
Life's a weird thing to happen and things change fast, so I'd say I have been an unconstant but intense CS user for the last years.

Interests

I love languages, all kinds of traveling (there's quite a lot of different kinds), restless and passionate people, reading and writing, and pretending to try to make sense out of this all, and... boh... etc!

But if you want to get me, a nice chat over a beer or coffee, a walk or ride, is priceless!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Due to all that sort of crazy stuff that happens in every proper Road Trip, ended up riding through Nevada/Arizona half drunk in a rented/free Limousine. Now, leaving that Hollywood stuff aside...

Seeing the moon rise where the rainforest and the sea meet in Costa Rica, after crossing Panama walking. Or what the milky way really looks like, in the Australian desert. Or getting my bike stolen in front of me in Kunming and not being able to do anything, while policemen and thief together are staring, laughing and shouting at me in Mandarin... driving 5000 Km in 4 days to cross Australia, or 5,700 in 5 days across USA. Hitchhiking more than 1000 kmacross Thailand, driving 2500 Km of Vietnam on a motorbike... Yeah, I adore "the road".

Getting back to Barcelona after way too long, and catching up with old friends... Yeah, that's actually quite amazing too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you with some of my languages (but only if you actually do the same, and accept that some of mine may, and will, be rusty now). Also, how to grow your own food in a 3x3 room, or how to make your own beer in a closet, or how to fix/destroy things, or how to conquer the world, or... we'll figure it out together!
