Overview
About Me
Hi! I am French and Canadian - was born and raised in France but spent 8 years in Canada sometimes ago, working as a project manager for a small non-profit organization. After taking a one year and a half break for travelling around the world, as well as volunteering, I am now settled in Mayenne, France.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was travelling I enjoyed meeting local people and discovering how they live their life, what is their favorite things about the city, etc. Now I am settle, I too would be glad to host travellers and continue to travel with you in a way.
Interests
I have a lot! I am very curious so I am interested in many things.
I like travelling, hiking, biking, running, reading, listening to music, cooking (vegetarian food) with people, walking under the rain, drinking tea (especially after walking under the rain), being lost somewhere and find my way again, knitting in the wintertime, sitting in a café by myself (or with friends), discovering new things. I practice meditation more or less regularly. I like to dance and I am learning tango. I love theatre. I like to surpass my limits... And much more!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to listen to all kind of music, depending on my mood, but really I am open to almost anything.
Favorites movies? Hmm... hard to decide, but I would say Life is a miracle, by Emir Kusturica, and The Last Samurai, by Edward Zwick.
I read a lot, mostly novels. I used to read mostly fantasy (Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Robin Hobb/Megan Lindholm, Neil Gaiman, Guy Gabriel Kay, Philip Pullman, etc.) but now I read all kind of fiction and non-fiction. I don't have a favorite book or a favorite writer. I like books that make me laugh or make me cry, that transport me in an other universe, that make me forget which day it is, that inspire me, that make me think. I like to let my imagination flow and create a whole new world. :)
