ABOUT ME

I have been living in many different places, like Berlin, London, Madrid, Istanbul, Barcelona, Israel, Ibiza,... Working as a waiter, Sales&Marketing executive for a Porn company, telephone banker, Catering manager, tourist guide, language teacher, journalist, rickshaw driver... I HAVE MET COUNTLESS EXTRAORDINARY PEOPLE ON THE WAY; AND I HAVE SEEN MANY BEAUTIFUL PLACES. And there's many more to come, as I am a restless emmigrant by choice.

By the way, I am also gay. (actually, I don't think that it matters here, as I see CS as non-sexual meeting place). However, I would like to mention it.
I do not care if you are gay, straight or transgender, black or white, Christian, Muslim or an atheist like me... But, you SHOULD smile sometimes!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I do more hosting than surfing. I just love to welcome people from all over the world in my place.
In the future, I would like to do cs-ing in the Iran, for example. Couchsurfing across Latin America is another traveler's dream of mine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I came to Izmir I didn't know anybody there. That changed very quickly when I started to attend the weekly CS meetings. Some of the couchsurfers that I met at my very first meeting have instantly become my friends. And that group of friends is growing still.
Without CS I would have been very lonely in my new city. I am very grateful for the warm welcome the CS Izmir group had given me.

TRAVELLING, OF COURSE! Cultures, languages, meeting people, movies that tell an interesting story, art and architecture. The regular stuff, I think!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

When I was very young, I worked and lived in a kibbutz in the north of Israel.
After two months of kibbutz life I was terribly bored, and I wanted to leave. At that time I had a tractor job in the cotton fields of the kibbutz. One afternoon after work, I took my beloved tractor and drove through the kibbutz totally naked. I just wanted the kibbutzniks to kick me out!
But only a very few very old people saw me. (Where was everybody?) And when they reported it to the managers, they just would not believe them! Damn it.
So, I stayed another couple of weeks and left the kibbutz very undramatically and fully dressed.

However, I love 'my' kibbutz 'Kfar Masaryk'! I had a wonderful time there.
(NO WORRİES! I am NOT a nudist. Normally, I don't walk around naked.)
