ABOUT ME

I love the career I took (biology) and I'm very interested in algae from freshwaters, I plan to keep on the research on that field.

This academic part of me is mixed with other passions... like music, photo (check out my site on DA if you're curious), dancing, meeting people, chating, sharing... walking in the city (night and day)... learning, talking...

I believe there are many ways of living, and many ways of imagining everything and I love to see them...

It's rare for me to spend more than a month without going to a "tokin" (wich is like a concert but not that formal) and dancing with whatever music it is.

I don't drink and the only thing I smoke is the polution :P I don't know if it's important here in Couch Surfing, but I'm a vegetarian...

I've lived all my life in Mexico City and I love it...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies... I recently realized I love documentaries... "Checkpoint rock, música desde Palestina" is great, "Solutions locales pour un désordre global" is fantastic, also "La domination masculine"... About fiction movies I think of "V for Vendetta" right now, November, Dogville...

Books... I wasn't a big fan of reading when I was younger and more recently, I've tended to read some political, educational, science stuf mainly...

Music... I'm super fan of la nouvelle chanson francaise like Les Ogres de Barback, Les Hurlements d'Léo... I love the fusions of several genders... gipsypunk, ska, reggae, cumbias, rumbas... and I'm not afraid of listening to other proposals...
