About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel and see the world. Also to meet folks from all over the world.
ABOUT ME
Single, so far, not really looking, enjoying the freedom that single life gives. I can strike up a conversation with anybody at anytime.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am very active member of Warmshowers.org a website geared for long distance bicyclist. Have hosted over 100 bikers in 6 seasons.
Have met some awesome people and had some great conversations while soaking in the hot tub
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Wow I need to respond to the reference below.
Okay I was underdressed to greet someone that I had not met before
I will admit to that. My pic here shows as much as he saw.
As to the questionable beverage it was Indiana well water so maybe
a different taste than some are used to.
As for chasing him down in my car. He stepped outside to make a call
next thing I knew he was gone with no explanation. The natural
curiosity in me made me wonder why so I drove down the road
to ask him why. Simple as that
Lesson learned on the clothing.
In 1987 I was laid off from my first job out of college. Took the opportunity to travel all over the eastern USA in my Mercury Lynx
Stayed with 10 different family and friends
never overstayed my welcome. 9000 miles
21 states and Ontario on the "blue highways" of the country.
Used couchsurfing to find lodging in far away New Zealand and nearby Indianapolis IN. Am heading to Greece and London later this year
and plan to use couchsurfing there for pretty much all my lodging needs
Interests
Reading, folk music, movies, gardening, cooking, entertaining, travel.
Got my own bike and have done a 3 state tour but check out a map of where i live before giving me much credit for that ride.
