I'm Noom, a 25-year-old guy from Myanmar. At the moment, I'm on a culture exchange program called Au-Pair in Germany and will soon be in Austria. I have always wanted to meet new people, learn new languages, and explore new places worldwide. I have known this site for a long time but haven't used the site, until recently. so I'm excited to meet new people and make new friends out there. I'm a little shy at first but once we get to know each other, I'm very active and can be a fun person to be around ( I guess, haha).

I want to meet new people, make new friends, and learn different languages and cultures. I also want to expand my knowledge and see and try something new out there that I cannot find if I stay in the same place forever. Also, would you teach me your local things? For example, your home cooking ...😊

Zainteresowania

I have a wide range of interests, for starting, I like outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, swimming, and so on. If you're looking for someone who will join your next adventure, count me in! Apart from that I love to learn new languages. Currently, I'm learning Spanish and German.

When I have time I also like to do volunteer programs. This November 2024, I would like to join WWOOF or voluntouring.org in Europe for a few weeks before I move on to my next chapter. If you have or know someone who offers something like Olive picking, garden helping, animals, and so on. Don't hesitate to let me know, I'd be very glad to join if I can find the time :D

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

I took my first international trip to Cambodia, I had never flown alone before, therefore that was the most memorable moment of my life. At least for now...

Updated. I did my first Couchsurfing in Italy and it has now become one of the amazing things I have done. And I cannot wait to meet more amazing people out there :D

For now, I consider myself a newbie in the Couchsurfing community, so the things that I know or am good at might not be perfect yet XD.
Other than that, have you ever heard about the Shan or (Tai) language? It is my native language and when I tell people I am from Myanmar but I am Shan, most of the time people have no idea what Shan is haha.
So I can teach you my language and culture if you want. I also like to cook different dishes from my home or Thailand. Thus to say, I am not a chef but I can cook something 😋😋

I find Couchsurfing is like a culture exchange program, as I used to be an Au-Pair in Germany and Austria, I loved how it has enchanted my culture understanding. Thus, I am also going to exchange what I know to you and to have a lot of unforgettable memories together. I am also an energetic person, if my hosts need company, I'm always up for it ;)
