About Me

I am a science teacher working at an international school in Guatemala (ignore the San Diego location). My girlfriend and I moved down here after realizing that San Diego was just too expensive for our liking, even though we absolutely love the city! We miss it dearly and hope to move back one day. Right now, we are enjoying living like locals in Guatemala and are traveling the country and the world in our free time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Two Couch Surfers were staying at a friend's place a while back. Both ladies were very friendly and welcoming. We all had a great time! My first surfing experience was in Austin, TX with two different hosts. I was not expecting the weekend to be as fun as it was or to meet as many people as I did. It was amazing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rocky Mountain National Park blew my mind. The roads seemed endless and the mountains even more so. They were majestic as we looked up at the towering peaks. Plus raining when there are no clouds nearby trips you out! Cape Cod, Massachusetts has the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen!

And now, living in Guatemala!

Driven across the country solo... twice!

Teach, Learn, Share

Cooking is one of my ultimate passions and love to teach others. I like to discuss music and the feelings behind it (lyrics especially). biology/ecology.
