I'm somewhat of a loner and have been using traveling as a means to heal my past. I'm very open minded and accepting of others, creative, intelligent, loyal, caring.

I'll be on a 3 week roadtrip throughout the US (New York, New Jersey, Chicago IL, Olney IL, Austin Texas.. & more) from the 12th of August to the 1st of September (ish') followed by a short visit to Buan in South Korea to partake in the Korean Prime Minister Cup (World Championship in Go) as Icelands representative.

I'm couchsurfing to meet new people and make new friends.

I'm also hoping to get some home made meals during my travels as fast food isn't really something I enjoy too much (not needed though, just nice).

Intereses

My main hobby would be the game of Go (a chess of sorts). I traveled to China and spent 2 months there studying the game a few years back and tend to travel a bit to attend Go tournaments around the world now and then (a great way to meet new people). I'm also going to participate in the Korean Prime Minister Cup (World Championship in Go) this september (2016). I'm the co-founder and secretary of the Icelandic Go Association.

Also interested in macro photography and have mostly been taking photographs of colored ice and ice crystals (sounds boring, but the results are incredible). Held an Art Gallery once at Gerðuberg with those photographs and got featured on national TV (though I haven't done anything with that, I always think I'm pushing things people don't need onto them by trying to sell them my art).

Spent a month at a total strangers place in the US as the person who was going to host me bailed on me but provided me with a friend as a host instead. Dirtiest and strangest place I've ever been to, but it was an interesting experience ^^

Went to China to study the game of Go for 2 months.

Held an art exhibition at Gerðuberg and was featured on the national news.

First Icelandic representative at the KPMC (World Amateur Go Championship held in South Korea).

I'm currently 2-3dan egf and rising in the game of go, possibly able to teach less experienced players. Would be really interested in learning from more experienced players as well ^^

Likewise know quite a bit about macro photography and photography in general.

Would love to learn some Asian cooking :)
