ABOUT ME

I'm open minded, humorous, down-to-earth girl. These make my day: arts, comics, cats, books, friends, good coffee or beer etc. These make me worry: money, environmental issues, narrow-minded people etc.

I want to meet people, make good friends, learn new things and ways to see the world. I think I'm quite easy to please, simple things are just fine. Bus ride, sunshine, good comic book, good conversation, it can be anything.

It's better to be poor but happy than be rich and depressed. Life is too short, you don't want to go through it crying.

Ohh man I sound so serious! Ha ha! Life is too short to be serious, too!

Interests

Meeting people! Books - I could live in the library. Bookstores are awesome. Games - especially something like Monkey Island :D Friends - my family. Music and concerts. Teaching and learning. Environment. British comedy (Stephen Fry! Hugh Laurie!) Drawing, painting. Going outside - bars or camping etc. Technology, nerdy stuff. Comics oh dear comics make my day. Travelling of course. Jokes. Cooking. And so much more. Show me the thing I'm not interested in :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Any kind. From Finnish heavy metal to something like Imogen heap or old progressive rock like Jethro Tull. Just ask. In music issues I usually have something common with everyone :D
Books: I love Kate Beaton's comics. Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi's Flow is mind-blowing. Tolkien is good, Philip Pullman is good, Tove Jansson is good. There are so many good writers!

Teach, Learn, Share

Because I'm a teacher student, I want to learn how people teach all over the world. I can tell how it's done in Finland. I also can tell you about Finnish culture, and for exchange, you can tell me of yours.
