ABOUT ME

Me! Well, I'm somewhat shy (at first), very polite, respectful, accepting, friendly, open, the things that a decent human should be (in my opinion). My New Years resolution this year was to wear lots of clashing patterns, and I'm succeeding! I love hats, scarves, Firefly, TNG, Brandon Sanderson, dogs, cats, I have no allergies, I don't eat pork but don't care if you do, I often mismatch my socks on purpose, I love to travel!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very new to couchsurfing, though I have participated in similar things and informal couch surfing! Currently my apartment is too small to comfortably host, but I'm soon moving to a house and am excited to open my doors (and my couch) to the couch surfing community!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept on many, many couches! Usually family or friends or friends of friends (once, a friend of a friend of a friend). Once on the couch of an alumna of my undergrad institution I had never met before!

Sci-fi, fantasy (good books in general), jokes, music, dogs, curry, painting (oil/acrylic/watercolor), many, many things!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm pretty well read, I listen to many different kinds of music (am currently enjoying shuffling through my ipod), and I like movies that suck you in but have happy endings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to visit my best friend in Mozambique when she was in the Peace Corps! It was an incredible experience I could never have achieved on my own.

I know a pretty good deal about geology, and will continue to learn more!
I know how to cook a pretty delicious chicken curry!
