Overview
About Me
Adventurer junkie, vanlifer and storyseeker. People know me as playful, sophisticated, well traveled, spontaneous and prone to action. I believe in a more supportive and open world and that's why I'm here. Currently writing a book while traveling but spent many years working remotely as a designer before that. I am a peaceful soul with an active body. I'm into carpentry and woodwork and like to create joyful spaces. I like movement in most ways; climbing, snowboarding, hiking etc. I believe we work to much and should play more, talk more and travel more. Slow travel is my jam!
Note: I am traveling a lot, that's why it's usually hard for me to host. But reach out and I'll see what I can do!
PLEASE don't ask to stay more than a few weeks before your planned visit - I will just tell you to ask me later. I'm spontaneous and I'm not going to promise to be home to host you a couple of months in advance.
Looking forward to share stories with you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe in an open and free world where people help each other with what they can. I want to offer people coming to my part of the world where I have the advantages a place to stay and a great experience, and I believe that the world (you, people) will help me back in the same way. Sharing is caring, and strangers are just friends we haven't gotten to know yet.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like electronic music and I like to dance... preferably at a festival surrounded by friendly hippies. Although I can enjoy most music genres, live music is usually fun. I'm openminded!
Books: there are so many books I love; science, fiction and in between.
I'm a bit nerdy about documentaries but like most movies with a somewhat deeper meaning.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm cheating, here's a few:
- Backpacking in South America as a 20-year-old was life-changing (now loot at me, 52 countries and counting...)
- Visiting Chernobyl and Pripyat
- Been in the board of a charity for a couple of years
- Sailed with the worlds largest wooden sailing boat
- Started practicing acrobatics as a 30 year old
What I Can Share with Hosts
Meals, stories, great conversations.
I can belay you if you're a climber and play with you if you're into acrobatics.
