About Me
I was the peace offering sent from California to my grandparents in Kuwait when I was two years old. Apparently I am the only reason my Kuwaiti grandparents accepted my parents marriage haha.
I am half American, half Kuwaiti, but spent 20 of 27 years of my life in California. The other 7 have been spent floating, based in Kuwait but traveling at every opportunity I get. I have a tendency to miss return flights based on coin flips in the airport lounge haha.
Spontaneous and free-spirited with a big heart for others and a stupid amount of faith in humanity. I co-founded a non-profit based in Kuwait called OXadventure which provides a college-credited platform for students and members of the public to travel to give. We built schools, dormitories, provided laptops and books, and did our best to give back to the poverty-stricken areas in the places we traveled with our groups which include Sri Lanka, India, Rwanda and Nepal. After the hard work is finished, we always have an adventure in store, be it trekking, safaris or surfing. It is by far my proudest accomplishment in my life thus far, along with my degree.
I am a passionate writer, I love to read and exercise, I love a good party and nightlife, truly enjoy funny people and light-hearted folks, don't enjoy judging or being judged and my ultimate dream in life is to see my books on shelves.
There is a lot more than I can fit in this box, so I will leave the rest for when me meet. Looking forward!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel too much and I travel alone. I want to meet people who have similar interests and it will be fantastic to have locals show me around as I have truly enjoyed my time avoiding tourist traps and seeing the place I am visiting the way the locals do. Also interested in hearing other's stories and learning from people as much as I can.
Side note** I oddly sleep on couches much more often than beds hahah! So might as well when I travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Started my own non-profit while in college with no money and no support. We gained sponsors, got on the front page of a magazine, got our own office, took over 100 volunteers in one year and proved everyone who said we couldn't, wrong.
I left on my first trip one day after my graduation,
Went to Thailand for 2 months to Tiger Muay Thai where we trained 4-6 hours a day. It was AWESOME.
I get knocked down, but i get up again...
Teach, Learn, Share
Always trying to do all three.
