Overview
About Me
I'm born in 1993 in Lucerne, a beautiful town in the heart of Switzerland. By now, I am living in Basel, the city at the river Rhine and I just finished my masters at the University of Basel in "Sport, Exercise and Health - Prevention and Health Promotion". I'm in general a big fan of different sports (e.g. Snowboarding, Gymnastic, Dance, etc.). During a long time of my life I was an active member of the Scout movement and I am still involved in some projects. I love to travel, meet people from all over the world, I like to exchange and learn more about lives in other parts of the world. I would consider myself as a openminded person, joyful and I am curious of all what's out there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I'm traveling, I'd love to get to know locals. It's so much of worth to come in touch with people, who can tell stories of how life in this place really is and I appreciate local travel tips. For me it's more like a 'coming-home' to places I am visiting by knowing or getting in touch with people on site.
Interests
I love to discover new places, free nature and connect it with traveling, sports and adventure. I love to get in touch with different people of different backgrounds and learn more about what other lives can be. Dancing for me is a way to connect with the surrounding and to feel free in the rhythms and music. I believe, dance and music is something which connects culture and can build bridges.

Music, Movies, and Books
There are so many different styles of music which I like, it depends on the day (Cumbia, HipHop, Indie/Folk, Funk, electronic music). I am just reading the book "Binenes historie" of the Norwegian author Maja Lunde and it makes me think which path we - the global society - will go?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The road-trip from Sydney to Melbourne with a Wicked Camper. The European road-trip around the Baltic Sea. Skydiving!! Fieldwork in the townships of South Africa.
