About Me

Hola! Que más pues, mor? Bien o no? :)

I’m a digital nomad activist originally from NYC. Currently bouncing around, trying to make the world a better place, experience the world, meet amazing people and animals, and learn and have fun along the way.

I like getting out of my comfort zone — or at least I believe in pushing myself to do that even if I don’t necessarily like it in the moment. So I’m open to most things that aren’t life-threatening.

Looking for deep conversations, activity partners, practice Spanish/English, someone to go dancing with or try out vegan food, watch an NFL game or baseball playoffs (I can explain what’s happening!), protest fascism, and would def not turn down meeting the love of my life or of my trip.

There is no place for racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, or disrespect for the environment or animals in this world. I consider myself very open, but at this point not to Trumpers. I can be polite, though. Hablo español pero tengo que practicar con más acentos y jerga! 🥴

Music, Movies, and Books

Thankfully in South America, I love reggaetón, but also into a lot of different types of music — from Britpop to Beastie Boys to Jack Johnson to Mos Def to anything nostalgic from the 80s.

I love a good movie as much as the next person but I don’t watch much TV or movies unless it’s highly recommended or w someone. Some faves are Better Call Saul, Mad Men, Parks and Rec, Shawshank Reception, Breakfast Club, Stand By Me.

Love to read. My faves for fiction are so hard to choose but some that come to mind are Margaret Atwood, John Irving, Jonathan Safran Foer, Dave Eggers, Kurt Vonnegut. Love personal growth and nonfiction too, esp about social issues. Learned a lot from Nick Kristof and Malcolm Gladlwell. Currently reading “Open Veins of Latin America” about how the US caused so many of the problems in Latin America. Would love your recommendations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped pass laws in 4 states that help make life less bad for millions of animals

Teach, Learn, Share

I train people to be activists for the social justice causes they care about. I love learning anything from a new dance or hobby, a new phrase in Spanish, to a new way of seeing the world.
