I’d been travelling around the world solo for several months in 2019, now I'm almost 2 years into my PhD in Physics here in Marseille. I'm way less awkward than most physicists, and more interested in talking travel than science :). I’m an avid hiker and biker, would love to show off les Calanques or some good bike routes to the adventurous types.

I love the international culture of Marseille, makes me feel at home as a foreigner. I'm also a huge food nerd, so heading to the markets for odd ingredients is basically my favorite past-time.

Happy to share a meal and offer a couch to other travelers.

I love classical, jazz, and folk music; basically anything acoustic. Recently I’ve learned some French songs and it’s very entertaining.

I read anything about art history, historical fiction, and my favorite author is Margaret Atwood.

Hiked half of the Pacific Crest Trail and met some lifelong adventure friends!
