I’m from Germany, currently living in Dortmund, working as a research assistant. Dortmund is a City which is crazy about soccer and good to live in - but I wouldn’t recommend it to travelers :D That’s why I spend my spare time as much as possible out and about in the world. :)
I love nature, being outside, mostly hiking and camping. But I’m also interested in other cultures, to learn about people, their habits and thoughts. It’s always great to shop in a supermarket abroad - that’s where you can learn a lot about a country and their people:)

You cannot get a know an other country by talking to Germans..and they are all over the world! :D Couchsurfing is the easiest way to get away from the typical tourists and learn about the actual people of a country!
