ABOUT ME

Hello! I am a 20 year old native New Yorker, currently studying abroad in Amsterdam. At the end of my semester, I'll be taking a Eurotrip by myself (for the most part anyway) and I'm looking for a place to crash.
I'm absolutely not fussy, and I would be more than willing to help anyone with any house chores if they need. I'm very sociable but also independent enough that you wouldn't have to show me around your city.
I'm looking to travel in the cheapest way possible, so I'm signing up for this against the suggestions of my parents and my schools study abroad office.
Making friends, traveling, helping others, and art are the main things I care about in this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking for places to stay, perhaps a travel buddy, or to show anyone around Amsterdam (so long as I am around)
(or New York for that matter, when I go back in late july)
I can't have anyone stay though, because my roommate doesn't like the idea of it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed before- at least not through a website, though I'm a really good house guest- I promise!

Interests

I am a painter/drawer, I love cooking, dancing (not a professional here), making friends, helping others, telling stories, magic, love, happiness, all those good things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To have a connection with a total stranger, and to be able to say you love that person, in a plutonic, completely genuine and unthreatening way, was one of the most beautiful things I'm able to say I've been a part of.

Also learning to rise above any hurt or anger I've been put through, until all that's left inside is compassion for the other party. It's a wonderful life lesson I've recently learned.
