CURRENT MISSION
Conquering Australia ;)
ABOUT ME
First of all I must admit that I love Budapest - this city has so many things to show and "tell" us! I've been living here for more than 20 years and still amazes me :) Such a diverse place that everyone finds what they are looking for.
Then some words about me (in order of appearance in my head):
- I like to smile;
- to write to-do-lists and tick items accomplished;
- to visit cities all over the world with the help of the marvellous Google StreetView when I'd rather be somewhere else than at home but can't go (new addiction: http://geoguessr.com/);
- one day I would like to ride the bike along the Avenue des Champs-Élysées on a sunny late-summer afternoon listening to the songs of Yann Tiersen;
- basically I'm curious and prefer listening to speaking;
- when travelling I enjoy finding bakeries and confectioneries where policemen buy their lunch;
- I always ask 'Why?' (even though not always loudly)
- I like washing the dishes in rubber gloves
- I like going on night excursions with headlights
- I can spend hours and hours snorkeling
- my memory is really bad, so don't be surprised if I ask something I've asked 5 minutes ago
IMPORTANT!: Using the public transport _with_ me, and _without_ ticket is VERY VERY dangerous!!! High risk of being fined!!! Just bear that in mind. It is NOT a joke!!!
PHILOSOPHY
The shortest way between two people is a smile :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I like funny music, like Katzenjammer or Caravan Palace, sometimes melancholic like Depedro, sometimes rebellious like Vetusta Morla, sometimes monumental like Jónsi, often flamenco, sometimes Shakira, or anything that brings back nice memories ;)
Movies: the most recent ones I watched and liked are Into the wild, The hunger games, La délicatesse and Intouchables
Books: I don't read as much as I would like to - and remember even less - but Roald Dahl, Márai Sándor, Agatha Christie I definitely remember and enjoy
And cookbooks. Oh, dearest cookbooks! :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing for me, that in 2012 I got the Erasmus scholarship to spend half a year in Spain. This was the first step that started the avalanche of tons of amazing things later.
(The second step was registering here on CS ;))
For example I could go to Valencia during the Fallas that definitely was a great experience ;)
And to Lanjarón at night to have buckets of water poured from the top of houses on me and hundreds of other, crazy Spanish people and then dry ourselves on the beach at night by the bonfires.
But so many things amaze me every day :) The sunset, people, the crunch of a thin square of chocolate, funny coincidences, a green wave of traffic lights, the Alhambra just being there where it is,...
And I'm the 1000th visitor of my profile!!!!!!!! :D
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach... to see that small things DO count! And that although Hungarian is said to be one of the most difficult languages on Earth, it's just a matter of practice - in which I can help ;)
