ABOUT ME

Oi pessoas!

i am Nora, 28, from beautiful Berlin; I nevertheless need a break! I am currently working in a law firm, sitting all day in the office, which is driving me craaaaazy. I need some fresh air, some motion and some new impressions! I thus decided to go on a trip on my own for the FIRST time. The choice has come to Brazil, everyone is falling in love with it at first sight, thought I should give it a go! Currently studying portuguese as well..

I love music, arts, architecture, food, drinks, tennis, surfing and dancing, hanging out with interesting folks, have a coffee or two! I also love to learn foreign languages, so far have succeeded in english and french, my spanish has been overspread by my freshly gained portuguese skills - I am currently trying to get used to brasilian pronounciation by watching peppa pig on youtube. Not sure yet, whether this is the most clever move, but it is kind of convenient. I would love to practice with you guys, you will have to be patient though.. !

I am going to go surfing for the first two weeks of my trip in Praia da Pipa, so if anyone of yu guys is going to be there and is keen for a cold drink, hit me up!

I will then go to Olinda and Recife, and am looking for a couch to stay, but more importantly, some local folks, who can show me around, so I can experience the city in a proper manner.

I will then go to Bahia to have a little trip to Chapada Diamantina National Park. Anyone keen on joining?

The next stop is Brasília, and as for Recife and Olinda, I would love to get to know locals to be able to experience not only the architectural side, which i am very interested in, but also the nightlife and daily rituals.

Last stop is Rio de Janeiro, I would love to hang out with someone, who knows this huge and somehow intimidating city and can show me around from time to time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

two times real couchsurfing so far... both in melbourne! but I slept at many couches before and loved it!
I never hosted someone myself, cause my flatmate always got us some surfers. So i was actually hosting them, too. Happy to host someone soonish though, needs to be discussed with my beloved flatmates though..
