Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We heard about this project from a friend, who started with CouchSurfing in Australia. She told us how awesome couching can be. We consider this project as a great opportunity to meet new people, to see places through the eyes of locals, to get to know other cultures and to -sometimes- get the chance to find new friends and somehow have the feeling of having a home a thousand miles away from our own one.

During/after our studies, we took the chance to travel far away for a few months and get to know OZ and NZ. There Janine made great experiences with couchsurfing.

We are looking forward to get to know interesting people, different cultures and traditions, see fantastic places, wonderful landscapes and also visit some typical tourist attractions :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Janine had only great experiences while couchsurfing in Australia and New Zealand in 2012.

Interests

Both of us are 30 years old and are working as primary school teachers. In our free time we like meeting friends, watching movies, going to the gym, sometimes partying, often just hanging out or enjoy a good meal, a cocktail or a beer... just the typical stuff that makes fun and life liveable.

Music, Movies, and Books

Janine:
Movies/Series - How I met your mother, Grey´s anatomy, pretty little liars

Music - Soul, RnB, but I also enjoy listening to songs which are from a totally different gernre.

Books - when I have the time I love reading books! I´m mainly reading thrillers or fantasy books from Karin Slaughter, Simon Beckett, J.K. Rowling, Trudi Canavan etc.
