Chi sono
CURRENT MISSION (I added everything below in 2011! I haven't really been on CS until 2019 again but was very active in the early days)
I'm Nora from the CS video! I love meeting new people, going to Burning Man then I'd love to surf your couch in Europe!
ABOUT ME
I just got inspired to do more surfing of couches after taking part in the CS project video for the couchsurfing homepage--
I write for a website with a friend of mine and work on spreading positive ideas. In my free time, which is a lot more than most people have, I tend to explore parts of this world I am fascinated by and try to write, read, and draw more too. I am very social and open to this world, but also at times a bit of a hermit, so CS is a good way for me to get out of my shell when I am out in the world as I love meeting people from other parts of the world.
PHILOSOPHY
enjoy life, appreciate the kind acts, give to someone, receive from another, don't let the bad times overpower your good times. I can honestly say lately I have been doing more action than just talk. I am ready to start a career and hoping that graduate school will lead me to a better focus in research.
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate by spreading the word, hosting and attempting to make it to various CS experiences around the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS couchsurfing was actually done not on a couch but sleeping in a Parisian kitchen, haha, but I didn't mind as it was clean and I was tired. It was when I was in my early 20s and attempting to do my first solo backpack trip through Europe. . . the memories will always live in me!
Interessi
To roll down some grassy knolls, snorkel kelp infested waters, hike, photography, sketching, reading under straw huts, building sand castles, and being with someone I love are important. I also tend to love politics, working with indigenous people, and working on projects that make me and someone else learn something new means a lot to me.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
I think the beautiful sunsets off la jolla shores, the inside of the Sistine Chapel, the Himalayas... Going inside the Lascaux caves was really amazing, so was hiking up a mounting to a temple in Northern Bali. Camping in Norway was breathtaking, the sjornfjord; and the beautiful tranquil city of Jarna in Sweden. I hope to soon do some amazing things, but for now I feel I am just an observer. Yet, of all travels volunteering in Madagascar physically&mentally changed me.
Insegna, impara, condividi
I'd love to learn to surf better, and to play an instrument. I know how to bike, swim, kind of play the piano, and a bit of a few different languages. Plus I can make some great stuffed bell pepper foods at times.
